Hi friend!
I've done hundreds of commercials, as the announcer but also the regular guy, or guy next door style reads.
My regular voice has been described as smooth and clear, but It's also very versatile, and I'm the guy at the radio station who has to do all the character and cartoon voices. My imaging has been called "gen X" and "Gen Y". I also do lots of impressions, (but have to make them more vague in commercials to avoid legal action:).

Communications Majors: advertising, radio minors: TV, Theatre Arts Directing course, acting, voice.... Yes, I've taken some classes (and taught some) but the best education has been 19 years in radio doing every voice from cartoons to over the top opera. Pro Tools LE (with audition on the side as a back-up) ...and a sweet Peavey Mic. I was... ... the host of a teen show til I was 22. ...an award winning poet I am... A playwrite (13 three-act plays sold) ...an award winning voice actor, singer, mimic...impersonator. Narrated three audiobooks (Gabriel Hunt) I write and perform jingles and song parodies too.
