Shireen Shahawy

I am a female voiceover talent who helps clients tell their unique stories and connect with audiences of every kind. I voice for local and regional broadcast clients, as well as for education and workplace eLearning projects. I also read for Fortune 500 companies from product explainers and training, to broadcast press releases. I was raised in New York City. My path to becoming a career voiceover actor has included stints in community and professional theater, as well as studio experience on both sides of the glass. Before pursuing voiceover full time, I worked in marketing communications. I have worked as a senior account manager for marketing and advertising agencies, and held leadership roles in corporate in-house communications departments. I bring a client's perspective to every voice session. I have a mac-based personal studio space where I am able to create voice-only tracks. I have a Rode microphone and use TwistedWave software for editing. I am available for Skype-directed sessions in my studio. I am in my studio full time, but have easy access to local studios with ISDN and full engineering capacity. I was a broadcast producer in my marketing communications days, and can help write and fully produce spots for an additional fee. Shireen's background is in marketing communications, and she brings that skill to all voice sessions.
