I can do English accents both Posh upcrust and local cockney. I can do warm, layed back, seductive and more erratic, high pitched and childlike. As a bonus to speaking commercials I can also add singing parts and write the music too.
Growing up in multicutural London, I'm quite acquainted with the warm fun sounds of the Caribbean ie., Jamaican or Barbadian accents. The Jamaican even more so. I can also do a very cockney elderly woman and have been known to do cockney male. My African heritage has introduced the Nigerian/West African tones of my parents, whom I'm told I take off quite well. Despite the funnier aspects, my natural speaking voice is described as newsreader, spokesperson (I've hosted many shows around the world and have co-hosted many radio programmes). If given a French (written script), I can add the authentic accent. I speak very little French (Je suis parlay Francais, petite pois). Altogether I like a challenge. I don't think I can do an American accent yet, but I'm willing to try! (smile)

Experience, training, and equipment
I am primarily a singer/songwriter, author, play writer, composer and voiceover aworld traveler. I have traveled ALL over the world, barring South America and. I have sung for & spoken before Princes & Princesses, Prime Ministers & Presidents, performing at St James Palace London 2005, The Kremlin in Moscow 2004 and Nigerian oil Summit in London's Ritz Hotel for the Nigerian President. . This exposed me to diverse and rich cultures, and my interest in dialects and foreign languages. I have made a point of learning to say at least "Hello", "Goodbye" and "Thank You" in as many languages as countries I've traveled. I have many voiceover commercials for radio in London/England and the UK, Co-hosted and presented more serious events such as fundraisers for reputable charities such as the Sickle Cell Society, Cancer Research etc. I've mentored child victims of the Blood Diamond war ridden Sierra Leone, at a Journalism school in Sierra Leone, Freetown, under supervision of the UN in 2004. (More information can be found on my official website. In addition to my solo career as Toyin Adekale, I sang with world famous band (barring America) called Boney M (Featuring Maizie Williams).
I have been a public performer/singer/actress for 26 years (I started young) and most of the informaiton is above. I went to the Dick Shepherd Drama school under the direct of a Talent UK Actor/Director Larrington Walker, amongst Eammon Walker, Robbie Gee and Trevor Etiene, all British Actors, who have made strides out here in the US. My singing career exposed to a vast amount of media via radio,TV and journalists presenting and being interviewed via the successes of my then recordings (singles, albums etc). I also went into journalism myself, presenting a couple of programs of my on the then known cable TV network BVTV. Google search under my name will verify. I have also a little experience in play writing.
I've been called for voiceovers in the UK and approached here in the US with suggestions of doing story telling and other voice related products I bring a bonus of being able to sing jingles and write hooks and compose musical pieces (with a musician). There has been a keen interest in my simple natural speaking voice, which always amazes me. Not just here in the US but even moreso in the UK.
I'll take the challenge, if you'll take the gamble, and the worst that could happen is there is a lot of fun in the process.
I look forward to hearing from you and you hearing me.
