I have done hundreds of radio commercials for clients across Canada and all over the U.S.A. over the past ten years -- many recently for Western Arizona-Southern Nevada, Eastern Washington-Idaho, and Virginia-North Carolina.
I have done voice-over work for TV documentaries, notably a local project here in London, Ontario on the Great Thames River Flood of 1937 for CFPL-TV.
In addition to all the radio, I have extensive television experience as a Business presenter involving much voice-over work at CFPL-TV London.
I currently do Weather Forecasting and presenting for Radio as my main business. I am a Weather and Science specialist for a dozen radio stations. I serve them through MP3 files VIA my FTP website:

This is all on top of 39 years' Major Market experience (mainly Toronto) in all aspects of Newscasting, Reporting, and Documentary/Feature Production.
I also am a 20-year Professor of Audio Production at the renowned and highly respected Fanshawe College Broadcast Journalism Program.
As above, my training has comprised 39 years of Radio Journalism -- mostly as an Anchor and Producer, but in EVERY aspect of News and Information programming, including as a News Director.
My freelance commerical and voiced weather business has been serving dozens of media clients for over 25 years.
I am a Political Science product of York University, Toronto (1973)where I was blessed to get involved in the campus radio station and thus founded my career.
I spent more than a decade flourishing as a top News professional in Canada's biggest Radio Market -- Toronto.
I now teach Audio Production and Documentary Production as a 20-year veteran Professor of Broadcast Journalism at Fanshawe College, London, Ontario.
My own studio consists of state-of-the art Dell Desktop computer, 2GB of RAM, full 32-bit depth -- voiced through either a Samson USB mic C01U or the venerable classic Sennheiser MD 421 for that "bright sound" when needed.
I process my sound mainly through a Mackie console with an older Ross console as a back-up. When the USB mic input is not being used, a Shure pre-amp mixer is used between the console and the computer. Software is Adobe Audition 2.0 or 3.0 with the older 1.5 version on standby. Sonar LE and Audacity are available but I wouldn't stoop to them.
I also have access to more elaborate recording facilities at Fanshawe College which process through Stantek Audio engines and boards to Adobe Audition 2.0 or to Pro Tools.
Output is by MP3 or any .wav format uploaded to my FTP site for download by the client. E-mail and CD are there. I took the ISDN out years ago as 'way too expensive for the tiny amount I used it. It was good for live radio, but e stopped doing that with better broadband and quick FTP turnaround.
Turnaround time on commercials can be a quick as a few minutes. Weather spots a few seconds! Quality AND speed are the HALLMARKS of my business!!!
I have a deep and wide knowledge of all sciences, political and economic issues. I am a voracious reader with omnivorous interests. This allows me to sound knowledgeable and authoritative while voicing even the most sophisticated product sells or the most arcane technical manuals.
Writing for spoken-word is much different than literary writing, and after 38 years writing news, I have the gift of TALKING WITH YOU -- NOT READING TO YOU through my scripting and voicing. It is the BEST way I know to successfully sell the customer!
I love golf, weather, cars and my motorcycle, television, numismatics, my wife of 30 years... the list goes on.
Try me!! See what I can do for you and your product. You'll like me!!
