As the M.C. of a monthly event called Playoffs, which shortly put, is a short ten minute one act slam night in new york city. I am responsible for keeping the crowd engaged through the use of mainly my voice. Sometimes I must be excited to the point of bursting and then other times a bit more subdued to get across the emotion to come. I have been hosting events since 1997 through Miami and NYC. I've been told that I would make a great disc jockey or VJ. I also worked in telecomunications where I brokered shares in the production of low to mid range budget films there I learned a lot about the power of our voices as through my voice I could represent anything. by trade I am a trained chef.
Being involved in the entertainment and restaurant industry for the better part of my life it has always been important to have great communication skills(check). Plus, having began this journey by attending the north center for the arts program as a teenager I have a good foundation that has only blossomed
As a player, for the New York Sharks women's professional football team I worked closely with our P.R. department by helping to produce and speak in a promotional video geared towards investors. Each day as a chef I deal with people from all walks of life lending to the overall life experiences that i translate through voice. Finally as entertainer and personality I understand the importance of connecting with the audience, viewer or listener to convey a message and point.
