About Kendra
(she/her)From the day I started talking when I meet new people the first thing they notice is my voice. It is unique and stands out. As a child I hated that it was always commented on, but I started to embrace it in my adulthood. As and Elementary Teacher from 2016-2023, I noticed that is especially loved among kids. I would use it and my animated traits to my advantage to keep their attention and make learning fun! I am excited to continue gaining voiceover and voice acting experience! I was asked to join a talent agency in Kansas City a few years ago because of my unique voice. However, in teaching I didn't have much spare time to make auditions. I currently work from home in product marketing, allowing me a more flexible schedule to jump into doing more voice work. I have taken a few classes online from the Groundlings: Tuning your voiceover instrument with Karen Huie and Intro to Voiceover with George McGrath. I learned a lot in these classes and have been encouraged to do more voiceover work!
